When I first started my business career in sales and marketing, I was baffled as to why an older man received all of the business. Now that I am the older guy, I realize that at the time I didn’t know what I didn’t know. It took over 30 years of experience to get to that point of knowledge. I have earned an MBA and provided product marketing for great companies such as Rubbermaid. My experience has helped me collect the wealth of knowledge and understanding clients value.
Think about it. Not knowing what you don’t know is the scariest thing, at least it should be. Having someone with the experience and knowledge to fill in your blanks is an asset beyond mere cost. It is the difference between spending too much for too little and succeeding on many levels.
We make our customers money. Your ad agency or design firm should not be an expense; it should be an asset.
